Praise Efferd! Elaja Karbeck sent us. We’re to take a look around town!
Well, I shall be glad to assist you where I can.
Efferd be with you!
So, what’s there to know about Riva?
Apart from the Holberkians…[NAME] now there is the old watchtower right next door. It is still haunted. The doors have been bricked up years ago, but that has not helped one bit.
Do you believe in a conspiracy of orcs and Holberkians?
In truth, it is hard to believe. The Holberkians as a whole are quite gentle, and they appear harmless indeed. But what do we really know about them? Nothing, nothing at all! Who can tell if their gentleness is not merely a charade for our benefit? You should always have an eye on the Holberkians.
What do you know about the rat-catcher?
He keeps the sewers clean. Apart from that, he is rarely seen, but there is all the more talk of him: He is said to be a werewolf, feeding on the rats he catches and commanding an army of unnatural creatures. Quite colorful, those stories…
Have you heard anything about the monster haunting the sewers?
Now, though I know the rat-catcher wears thick protective clothing and carries some bizarre equipment while down below. Those who meet him in the sewers can be forgiven for thinking him a monster.
And what can you tell us about the pirates?
Many of the uncouth scoundrels are amassing on Sorrek. I assume the corporation is waiting for an opportune time to deal with them!
Do you have information about the guild or the tradesmaster?
The guild has become a significant power factor in Riva. The tradesmaster is guiding the organization with the same ability and skill he used to build his trading house before.
Do you know a guy named Tarik?
He lives quite close to here, next to the ‘Harbour Maid’.
How about the judge?
He has changed quite a bit these last few years, and I dare say to his disadvantage.
This must be a busy temple.
Certainly - Riva is a port city, so many sailors come here to give thanks to the Lord of the Seas.
Efferd protect you!
