There almost was a revolt when that Albernian tradesmaster was put on trial. And then, suddenly, came the news of his escape! It’s said he’s leading the guild now. For quite some time the actions of that organization have been directed against the authorities, making Ui Chearghail and the guild popular heroes!
Do you believe that the orcs and the Holberkians are conspiring?
Really, the Holberkians are much too harmless for that. On the other hand, it would certainly be easy to use those gormless creatures for nefarious ends without their knowledge.
What do you know about the town’s rat-catcher?
He comes in every now and then. Xebbert Drbann is a decent fellow who needn’t shy from the eyes of the Fox.
What’s your opinion of the rumors about a monster in the sewers?
I have none.

Looks like they’ve been angering the guild lately. If the corporation hesitates much longer, they won’t have to send a force at all. Ui Chearghail will have solved the problem himself.
How about some information about the guild or the tradesmaster?
Ever since a squad of guards disappeared in the sewers, the tunnels below town are guild territory. The stories about monsters prowling there make sure that no one dares disturb them.

Yes, the man knows a good deal, and he sells what he knows, for good money. You can make quite a living that way in a city as big as Riva.
What can you tell us about Bosper Jarnug?
These days, and for some time now, I don’t know what to make of the judge. He used to have a reputation of being harsh, but fair - these days, he’s just strange and unpredictable.
