You keep hearing that the pirates have set up shop on Sorrek. These days, trading vessels tend to form a convoy to have a better chance of defending themselves.
As far as Ariana’s death is concerned, nothing at all seems to be happening.
Do you think the Holberkians are behind the orc uprising?
No, I’d say that’s out of the question. The orcs may be short of laudable characteristics otherwise, but they do have their pride and won’t let anybody boss them around. They’d be much more likely to lord it over the Holberkians than obey their commands.
Do you know the rat-catcher?
I have seen him a few times, but I wouldn’t say I know him. You hear a lot of things about him, but that’s mostly proof that people are more prone to use their mouth than their brains.
What about the stories of a monster in the sewers?
Total nonsense!
There’s is definitely a monster loose in this city somewhere, for that’s the only term fitting for Ariana’s killer! But hiding in the sewers? By now, there’s enough vacant houses in town…
