You have reached New Lowangen. Apparently, the only thing this dump has in common with Lowangen is the name. The road opens to a square surrounded by a few houses. There’s a temple of Praios in the middle, and an inn at the southern edge of the square. Do you

enter the temple,

pay a visit to the inn,

You’ve reached Reichsend. Without the magnificent temple of Praios and the small “Emperor’s Pride” inn, you would’ve been hard pressed to notice the few houses actually make up a village of their own. Do you take the opportunity to

gawk at the interior of the sumptuously decorated temple,

visit the inn,

or leave the village again?

The village of Svellmia, situated at the confluence of Svellt and Svall, is no more than a small river harbor. A small inn offers a chance to rest and relax. Do you

haunt the inn,

check the harbor for a boat leaving sometime during the next few days,

or continue your journey by foot?

When you reach the harbor, you see a skipper just loading up his boat. He says he wants to leave four hours from now and would be prepared to take you along for the following amounts. You’d have to pay up front though and board immediately.

9 ducats for passage to Tiefhusen

12 ducats for passage to Hilvalla

15 ducats for passage to Norhus

Of course, you can also just go back into the village.

What a pity. You haven’t got the money for a boat trip!

To call Hilvalla a village would be pushing it. All this place has to offer is the ferry station and the inn. So, how about it? Do you

visit the inn,

go to the ferry station

or just get away from here like everybody else seems to have done already?

There is nobody at the ferry station right now, but you find the following notice:
“Ferry traffic continues. To cross over, leave here in westerly direction. A boat trip in both directions is available on request.” Do you want to

take the boat to Norhus for 5 ducats,

take the boat to Tiefhusen for 3 ducats,

or go back outside for a different choice?

Well then, what’ll you do next? Do you

take the boat to Norhus for 5 ducats,

take the boat to Tiefhusen for 3 ducats,

or go back outside for a different choice?

You have arrived at Norhus, an important traffic knot within the Svellt Dale. The Svellt embankment road goes through here, and the road to Riva goes off from Norhus, too. Small wonder there’s a large inn situated in this town. Do you

visit the inn,

look for a ship, to go up or down the river,

or continue traveling by foot?

When you reach the river, you see a boat going upstream. You call to the skipper and ask whether he’d take you on, and he answers: “I’ll take ye to Tiefhusen for 6 ducats, but I can’t call at Hilvalla, fer want of paying the fees there last time.” Do you want to

induce the skipper to drop anchor, or

return into town?

You reach the small Dwarvish town of Hiltorp, situated on a steep slope. It takes a second look to notice any buildings on the slope, as the largest part of the Dwarf dwellings is situated underground. There are no detached buildings at all.
In the center of the slope, there’s a temple to Ingerimm. Right next to it, you notice a smithy that’s quite busy. Halfway, there is an inn. Do you want to

visit the temple of the God of smiths and Dwarves,

pay a visit to the inn,

disturb the blacksmith,

or leave the Little People in their village and walk on by?
