Griffinshill Sour Brew, 1028 BF vintage
Leaves an appley aftertaste, crisp and fresh. Creates a prickly, fiery sensation in the mouth. Bouquet reminiscent of rosewood, but nothing like rose petals. A cleansing effect that elicits an acute reaction in the nerves of the teeth. Also perfect for removing stubborn plaue. Best enjoyed in rapid gulps. Lights a fire in the belly that sends a brief flare of heat up as far as the nasal cavity.
Yquir Valley, 1012 BF vintage
Exquisite. Simply exquisite. Will write more after second goblet. — Utterly supurb. Description to follow. — Full-bodied bouquet. One more goblet, just to make sure. — Velvety finish. Barrel empty. All gone. Can't do proper descriptification now.
Blackberg Drops of Praios, south-facing slopes of the Aarberg estate, 1031 BF vintage
Sharp, metallic bouquet, reminiscent of a spiked club. Highly astringent. Best drunk quickly. Can be improved by mixing with grapefruit juice. Has a welcome numbing effect after three goblets.
Griffinsford Sour Brew, 1028 BF vintage, "Wulf Bredan special limited edition"
Not dissimilar to Griffinshill, but more acidic, with unmistakeable hints of corn and urea. Extremely cheap. Note: Don't miss out — order two more barrels!
Tharf/Rahja's Gift from Gods, Deepenborg, 1034 BF vintage
Cask fell out of an adventurer's backpack (or so Ulfryn says). Full-bodied with a rich aftertaste, and plummy, creamy mouthfeel. Wonderfully long finish. — Ulfryn claims it has magical powers, but I have yet to be convinced, although I faked the effect for him. P.S. And he fell for it.
