It is said that some apocryphal scripts from the Gyldenland are hidden deep beneath Bosparan, and refer to the hostility between the imposter who takes many forms and the god with neither name nor face. Many eons ago, the Golden One is said to have lured away, or rather stolen, some of Iribaar's servants when he gained the power of the demons' thirteen-horned crown. The mages of the Gyldenland referred to these demons, spawned by Quitslinga long ago, as "Akasharel", which is said to mean "golden-tongued deceiver". Like Quitslinga, an Akascharel can assume the form of any being and mold itself according to its needs. However, it is also said to be capable of stealing its victim's memory to impersonate them more convincingly. Were this dreadful talent not enough, it is believed that the Akasharel also possess powers normally attributed only to those blasphemous priests who serve the Nameless One. They can speak with a gilded tongue and dulcet tones, planting the terrible seeds of doubt, a skill normally viewed as a dark miracle. No one knows how to unmask one of these fiendish creatures, although they betray their identity by having toadstools every day to enable them to maintain a foothold in our world.
